BB Couture Sea of Cortez

BB Couture does micro-shimmer/twinkle light polishes so very well. There is something very soothing about this color.

My bottle of Kotori is half gone. I do wear it often but it is also sheer and needs about four coats to be opaque. I prefer to layer it over a dark midnight blue cream but I decided to wear it alone this time around. A shimmery blue with hints of darkness - lovely!

Finger Paints Artistic Azure

Artistic Azure is a blue with a smidge of green added to it. It's dark but never black. This is one of my favorite blue polishes.

China Glaze Drinkin' My Blues Away

Yes, this is a hard to find but it's lovely and worth showing. A deep blue glass fleck shimmer with sparks of purple/pink. Pretty! You could get close (I think) to this color with China Glaze Blue Year's Eve and a coat of OPI Designer Series Magic or Sally Hansen Hi-Definition in Laser to amp up the shimmer/sparkle.

Hello! I hope that 2012 greeted you in a good way. Laura gave me the idea of doing a color appreciation post and I decided to start with blue. Blue is a close second to green as being a favorite polish color for me and there are a number of different ones that I really like. It will blue all week and I decided to start it off by showing a few blue creme polishes that I enjoy.
