China Glaze Cyberspace

Cyberspace is from the Tronica collection which didn't get a ton of attention. I kind of forgot that I had this one until I went digging in my Alex. I'm looking forward to the Hologram collection but I kind of wish they would release a collection like Kaleidoscope. I love the holo finish of those!

This is two coats with topcoat. It's a great neutral/nude and the formula is great.

China Glaze Cowgirl Up

I wanted something a bit vampy but not a creme so I picked Cowgirl Up from one of my favorite collections ever - Rodeo Diva. This glows and is very shiny. I love it!

China Glaze White Cap and Models Own Indian Ocean

Don't forget the giveaway!

I started with a base of OPI My Pointe Exactly and over that a layer of Models Own Indian Ocean. It was a bit too sheer so I added another layer of Indian Ocean and put a layer of China Glaze White Cap over all that.  The shimmer in Indian Ocean is more pronounced in reality but I like the mix of the gold and raspberry shimmer with the hint of grey/blue from the base colors.

China Glaze New Bohemian Collection: Quick Swatches

Ooo, guess who got nail polish in the mail? Guess who is unimpressed? ME! Oh, have you checked out the giveaway?

I thought I would show the quick swatches that I did of the New Bohemian collection so you can get an idea of what they look like. I can't call them a traditional duochrome but they do have a soft metallic/chrome finish and any color shift is very soft and very, very subtle. The formula is thin on all except Deviantly Daring which is a one coater so I can't see them working for stamping. Layering them over black doesn't make a difference and though the formula is thin you only need, at most, three coats for full coverage.

I do see a few that are similar to the Nails Inc Special Effects Mirror Metallic colors, Golden Rose Classic Metallic colors, a few Deborah Lippmann colors and a few OPI colors. That means that if you have those you'll see overlap in colors but price wise China Glaze is the winner. These look amazing in the bottle but the bottle color just doesn't translate to the nail. They are pretty but they don't live up to the promo photos. It's kind of like being promised a donkey and getting a hamster instead. They are both great and cute but a donkey does not equal a hamster.

On to the quick photos. I hope you find them helpful! I bought these at a local place but I am sure that they will be available all over the place very soon. Have a good weekend!

Swanky Silk is a rose/champagne shimmer that reminds me of Nails Inc Stratford but Stratford has a much stronger duochrome quality.

Rare Radiant is a green/gold shimmer and the closest one to Peridot in the bunch.

Unpredictable is a deeper blue/green/gold.

Deviantly Daring is a deep teal with subtle green shimmer. Much deeper and a bit more green in reality. It's like a cousin to Rimmel Mania and is my pick of the collection. It's really beautiful.

Want My Bawdy is a deep violet. I have no idea what is up with the name! This is similar to Nails Inc Cheyne Walk. This is less blue and more violet in reality.

No Plain Jane is a purple/pink with a very subtle bronze/gold color shift.

Here are some group shots.

Green Holo with Red Angel RA107

Don't forget about the giveaway!

These look like dinosaur eggs. I showed my Dad and he said they look like mold covered quail eggs. I do love my Dad and they way he views things. The base is China Glaze Laser Lime stamped with A-England Saint George using Red Angel plate RA-107. It's more holo in person and very vibrant.

Can I just say that it's really, really hot here?! I kiss my air conditioner every day.

Copper and Blue

One of my favorite color combinations: copper and blue. I layered LA Girl Glitter Addict in Jostle over Harvest Moon. I think I like this better than Lippmann's Ray of Light and this combo really glows. Pretty!

China Glaze Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon doesn't seem to be getting the attention I think it deserves. I think this and Electrify are the stars of the Hunger Games collection but that's just my opinion. I thinks it's a good opinion though and if you don't have a copper in your collection this is a very good choice.

Below is two coats and I would like to say that I am really proud of myself for keeping up with filing my nails. Usually I'm lazy and just let them grow until they annoy me or break but lately I have been maintaining them really well. *pats my own back*

Green and Gold with China Glaze Trendsetter and Blonde Bombshell

Trendsetter is one of my favorite greens. I love the shimmer and the murky color. I wanted some subtle glitter so I added Blonde Bombshell to the tips. I like it.

China Glaze Liquid Crystal

Don't forget about the raffle!

I have been looking forward to the China Glaze Prismatic collection ever since I've heard whispers about it. I picked Liquid Crystal to wear first and it's so pretty! It has a blue base with a subtle color shift of purple, pink and more blue. It has all these neat round multi-colored glitters and it just shines! I wore one coat over Essie No More Film but you can easily wear it alone but wearing it layered seems to bring out the best aspects of this polish. It's not a huge topcoat eater either which is a nice surprise. I love this collection and I'm glad to see something unique in the commercial polish world.

I bought this collection offline but it can be had on Amazon, Transdesign and other retailers. It's a really great collection!

Lots of photos of this one.
