Metallic Dots

I saw the Sephora Nail Bling Black Rainbow post at I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous and I wanted them! Then I remembered (after a hard slap to my head) that I don't like nail stickers. I do like stamping so I duped it (sort of) with Konad plate M60 and various metallic polishes from China Glaze.

I just put stripes of polish on the stamp and wiped it off and stamped. The colors blend together a bit. So cool.

OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia

I was filing my nails and I filed my middle finger amazingly crooked. I do not know how I did that but it may have been because I wasn't paying attention. Moral: don't read while filing your nails. This is Flashbulb Fuchsia which is a vibrant shimmery fuchsia. Love the old black label OPI's that don't have the pro-wide brush. I stamped with China Glaze Adore using Konad stamp M79. And guess who got a dotting tool? Me! I used it to add yellow dots.

It reminds me of wrapping paper.

I added a matte topcoat and really like it!

Hello Spring!

Well it's getting close to Spring anyway. I like Spring but it's a pity it means Summer is getting closer.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM12 for the yellow flowers and Konad plate M3 for the other little flowers. The little blobs of glitter are a dark teal. The base is Barielle Sweet Addiction. I didn't feel like changing it so don't mind the wear. Anyone else excited about the new Bundle Monster plates?! I am!

Misa Pretty with Konad M70

I broke a nail. Well actually I was playing with Thom and wasn't paying attention and he took a chunk out of a fingernail. I'm so abused. I went with Misa Pretty as the base and used black to stamp with Konad plate M70 and added little silver glitter dots.

I think it's cute and it makes me feel better about having to file all my nails down to match the chewed one. And I want to say that I am really lusting after the XL stamping plates from Chez-Delaney. Ooo!

Orly Glitz and Glamour

Gah. I love this polish and I think it may have moved into my top 20. So glitzy and blingy. Great color to ring in a new year. I decided to go with a slightly shattered look by using Konad stamp M70.

Hello 2011. Don't be a bitch like 2010.

China Glaze Secret Periwinkle

I love this color. It's soft and oddly edgy. I decided to wear it with flowers. A little bit of spring on my fingers. I used Konad stamp M3 and M60.

China Glaze Great Barrier Beige and Fishnets

China Glaze Great Barrier Beige is a great nude for me. It's not too brown or too white and has the perfect amount of pink. The best part is I only need two coats. These photos are after a day of wear.

The one downside to short nails (besides not being able to scratch my head with any satisfaction) is that polish shows wear quicker. I decided to stamp a fishnet pattern over it using Konad stamp M57 and black polish.

Silver Glitter Konad

I really like Snow Globe from China Glaze. I like to wear it over silver to get a snowy icey look. I did that and stamped with M64 using black polish. It reminds me of a stained glass window. The silver is Finger Paints Easel Come, Easel Go which is a favorite of mine.

I can't wait for snow!!

Revlon Street Wear Moody

This is another Street Wear that has two version. One is sheer with a blue flash and there is this one. It's a lovely teal with very subtle shimmer. Mm, so pretty.

You can see the shimmer here.

I got my clear stamper in the mail which makes a difference when stamping with red shades. I had a hard time seeing the image on the regular pink one. I played with it and used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Speedy Sunburst and Konad stamp S6. I would love to see a double stamp that is clear since I prefer the smaller size on that one.

Orly Glam Rock and Konad M64

I really loved the Metal Chic Metallic Matte collection from Orly. They have that awesome suede matte finish so they aren't flat when they dry. I just love them!

Glam Rock is a copper that reminds me of a new penny.

They are great to stamp over too. I used Orly Blue Suede which is a matte blue that works really well with stamping. I used Konad stamp M64 for the design.

Here it is with a topcoat but I prefer it matte.

Butter London Bumster

I was smitten with this color in the bottle and even more so when I put it on. The formula was a breeze! These colors can sometimes be a pain - streaky or patchy - but this one was two coats and it was smooth. Bumster is a warm yellow with some gold thrown in and it reminds me of smooth dijon mustard. I love these colors.

I decided to stamp over it using Konad stamp M65 and China Glaze Cherish (green) as the color. I wanted a slightly retro look. This reminds me of wallpaper that was in my kitchen years and years ago.

W.I.C. by Herome in Endinburgh and Konad

I got this in a swap and first thought it was nail art. It's in a slim bottle like those nail art polishes but it is actually polish. This tickled me for some reason I can't explain. It's a shimmery yellow green which is awesome! The formula was pretty good too. I have no clue about this brand beyond the two I got but I think they are neat.

Anyone have any info on this brand? I'll google but I like to hear real life information.

I decided to Konad over it with stamp M60 using a green polish from Konad and Northern Lights gold over it. It's very subtle since it is green on green but that is what I was going for.
