Zoya Ziv and BM-322

I thought Ziv from Zoya was going to be a boring plain gold but it's got little flecks of darker burnished gold glitter. It reminds me of a golden Jessica Champagne Bubbles. I only needed two coats for coverage so no complaints on formula. It did take awhile to dry even with topcoat but Zoya tends to be fussy with drying for me.

Ziv is from the Zoya Ornate Holiday Winter collection and is now available for purchase online.

I decided to stamp over it using Bundle Monster plate BM-322 and Konad blue stamping polish. My stamping skills are rusty!

Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for review by Zoya.

Misa Epiphany Stamped with BM-315

I removed any content about my Mom because she wasn't happy about being on the internet. She was pretty pissed actually. Why are Moms so good at the guilt and shame thing? Ouch. So lets pretend I never posted anything about her. Thank you!

I kept looking at Epiphany as I was wearing it because it reminded me of something. It was driving me crazy because I couldn't figure out why it felt familiar to me. I hate when that happens! You know that white and gold fabric that you see around the holidays that is usually used to decorate tables? I usually see that combination with table runners or placemats. This is what this gold reminds me of but in a more muted shade. I decided to stamp it using Bundle Monster plate BM-315 and white polish to kind of mimic that look. I like it - it's sweet looking.

Addendum: Jessica Cosmetcs Spring 2012 Awakening Collection

I played a bit more with the polishes from the Jessica Awakening collection and wanted to show how I actually wore them. They all work really well for stamping and nail art.

Flutter stamped with Sunrise using Red Angel plate RA-108. Let's ignore the smeared pinkie finger. Thank you.

I bought a set of dotting tools. Finally! I'm going to put dots on everything! Here is Monarch as a base and Flutter and Soar dots.

Here is Soar stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM-202 using a lilac metallic polish and purple glitter  for the dots.

Bundle Monster BM-208

I got an odd email asking why the skin around my cuticle area is wrinkled. It's not wrinkled. I have a web of fine scaring around that area on a few of my fingers. I could Photoshop them out but they don't bother me. So take that creepy email person!

On to the polish.

In reality this looks like fish scales in an abstract sort of way. I used China Glaze Millennium and Adore for the stamping. I just swiped them both on in random patterns and scraped them off. Easy! The design is over Essie Smooth Sailing.

Bundle Monster BM204: Matte Flowers

This didn't photograph well at all. It looks much better in person. I used Bundle Monster plate BM204 and three different stamping colors - orange, yellow and green. I just put the colors on the image in different spots and wiped them off. The mixed really well. After I put a matte topcoat over everything. The base color is Jessica Intrigue.

Reminds me of a knitted coin purse.

Bundle Monster Set Two: Plate Images

I'm not going to stamp each image like I did last time. Whew! That was a chore! I did take a photo of each plate so you can see each one. It's a really nice set and I have to be honest and say I prefer this one to the first one. The images are a bit bigger which will appeal to most and there are more pattern type designs. They stamp better as well. Two thumbs up!

I bought this at Bundle Monster.

Hello Spring!

Well it's getting close to Spring anyway. I like Spring but it's a pity it means Summer is getting closer.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM12 for the yellow flowers and Konad plate M3 for the other little flowers. The little blobs of glitter are a dark teal. The base is Barielle Sweet Addiction. I didn't feel like changing it so don't mind the wear. Anyone else excited about the new Bundle Monster plates?! I am!

Orly Cashmere Cardigan

Cashmere Cardigan is one of those color I really dislike in the bottle but once on the nail I enjoy. I stamped with BM03 using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in a coral and pink. They work really well for stamping. I added a little gem. I always feel bad when I remove a manicure that has gems. I have this compulsion to save the gems and use them again. I think that would be taking things a bit far.
