Misa Fall 2010 What I Like About You Swatches
When I first saw the promo photos for this collection I was like WooHoo! I saw some swatches and I was kind of Eh about it. I decided to buy the collection anyway because I have issues. I'm glad I bought it. It's the typical Misa formula - meaning wonderful. Two coats on all of them and they are just vibrant. Misa does a frost finish really well.Most of this collection was so hard to photograph. I tweaked the photos the best I could but they really need to be seen to appreciate them.
When U Say My Name is a lovely shimmery brown. It's too light, to my mind, to be called chocolate. I'm calling it a shade of brown sugar. This reminds me of suede. Very lush.
Perfect Kiss is a suprise to me. I thought I would be lukewarm about this but I like it. It's vibrant and just hot.
It's You! is a charcoal with hints of green and pink sparkles which gives it a very subtle duochrome look. This is subtle but pretty. It reminds me of riverstones.
Spinning Out of Control was so hard to photograph. It kept coming out blue and it is not. This is actually very, very close to OPI Ink. A deep purple with hints of blue with a fine pinkish/purple shimmer.
Quirky Smile is a deep peacock teal. Gorgeous! And the photos do not do this justice.

Like It Like That is a metallic emerald green shimmer with hints of teal. In fact it came out in photos as teal but it is way more green with little flashes of teal. Really stunning and vibrant. It has this pow factor when you put it on.
The first two photos are as close as I could get the color to show.
My picks are Like It Like That, Quirky Smile and It's You! I think the other colors have dupes or they aren't that original. I do love the formula and finish on all of them though. I bought this at Head2Toe. The whole collection has this vibrant gemstone feel to it.

It's You! looks really interesting. This seems like a good collection; I'm glad Misa is coming out with some new stuff. It seemed like they fell off the radar for awhile there.
Misa told me that they had to find a new bottle distributor. The only difference in the bottle is the handle is slightly different in feel.
Ooh, all of these look really pretty! It can be so hard to capture these colors properly sometimes, it's frustrating haha. You take a million photos trying to get it perfect. Your photos are gorgeous though! I'll have to pick out a few of these for myself!
