Zoya Ziv and BM-322

I thought Ziv from Zoya was going to be a boring plain gold but it's got little flecks of darker burnished gold glitter. It reminds me of a golden Jessica Champagne Bubbles. I only needed two coats for coverage so no complaints on formula. It did take awhile to dry even with topcoat but Zoya tends to be fussy with drying for me.

Ziv is from the Zoya Ornate Holiday Winter collection and is now available for purchase online.

I decided to stamp over it using Bundle Monster plate BM-322 and Konad blue stamping polish. My stamping skills are rusty!

Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for review by Zoya.

Sparkles by Julie Milky Way

Milky Way from Sparkles by Julie is such a sweet and oddly complex glitter. It has a delicate sparkle and feel to it but it's not shy. I'm really pleased this one and find myself moving my fingers around to see the duochrome quality of the blue/green glitters and I wiggle my fingers to see the holo sparkle. This is a polish that needs to be worn to be appreciated.

I bought this from Sparkles by Julie and there are a few others that have caught my eye. I am wearing one coat over OPI My First Knockwurst. The OPI wore horribly on me and you can see the tip wear in the below photos.

L'Oreal The Temptress' Touch

L'Oreal The Temptress' Touch was the only color that caught my eye from the 2012 Project Runway collection. It's very pretty too! A golden green shimmer with little sparks of copper. The sparkles aren't shy at all. The only odd thing is it dries to a weird satin like finish that sounds neat but is dull in reality. A topcoat brings back the shine. The below is two coats and I stumbled upon this at Walgreens.

CrowsToes 2012 Halloween Collection

Have you seen the preview for the CrowsToes 2012 Holiday collection?! Oooooo!!! I am getting them all because they all look amazing. I love CrowsToes so very much! Since I was all excited about that collection I thought I would show the 2012 Halloween collection. Feel free to check out Hell Hath No Fury and Bone Daddy that I already posted.

You can purchase CrowsToes from Llarowe and Overall Beauty and they are so worth it!

Purple People Eater over OCC Swamp Thing. I like the contrast of the green and purple plus the names go together so well.

Tangled Web over Essie Playa Del Platinum. This is so sexy and looks really good over a number of different colors.

Last Call at the Crowbar over Nubar Marble Tower. In my very early 20's there was this little dive bar that a group of us would visit. They gave you markers and little shot glasses full of glitter and you were encouraged to write on the tables and walls and to just throw the glitter everywhere. It was fun but I think the $1 shots may have made it more fun. This polish brings lots of memories back because this is what the floor of the bar looked like. And my bed the next day. Glitter everywhere!

VooDoo over Jessica Banana Peel. The orange glitter is very reflective - like aluminum foil!

Frog's Breath over L'Oreal The Temptress' Touch. This is really, really reflective and sparkly. I love this one!

F4 Polish Ice Cold

I was going to wear ManGlaze ILF alone but we just did not get along. I found the formula to be runny and sheer. I needed four coats for it to be even and opaque but the most annoying part was that it wouldn't dry. After about an hour I could still easily dent it and three hours later I lost a bit of the polish by the tip of the nail. You can see the middle finger in the photos below with the chipping. Grrr! I didn't have a lot of time to change so I just added some glitter. Glitter makes everything a bit better. I reached for F4 Polish in Ice Cold.

I'm happy with the F4 Polish but not with ManGlaze which is a pity because ILF is a lovely color. I've decided after buying and using a few ManGlaze polishes that I am just not impressed with them. Ah well, there are lots of other brands to try!
