You guys are a bunch of smart-asses. I love it! I'm really enjoying some of the responses to the "How do you read the blog?" question on the giveaway form. I meant how do you follow the blog but I'm not changing it because the answers are so much fun.

This looks so much better in reality. It also needs some thinner but I really like the green glitter mixed with the purple. Reminds me of an Easter egg.

Two more from the Butter London Spring/Summer 2012 collection. 

Trout Pout is described as an opaque cantaloupe and that is a pretty good description. Color taste is subjective but I really, really don't like this color on me. I can't complain about the formula at all. I was surprised at how nicely it when on and how it self-leveled after a few seconds. Still, just not a fan of this color. 

Bossy Boots is a pale pistachio green and I love pistachio nuts. I didn't think I was going to like this one because it seemed so pastel and stark. It is pale but it's a murky based pastel which I like. It comes across very retro looking on the nails. It looks good on my shorter length and I think it will be great to stamp a design over.

I like Butter London. I have a number of bottles from them and I really love a few like Wallis, Black Knight and Knees Up. So I was pretty happy to see Slapper from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. They describe it as a teal. I say it's a teal with strong green tones - if that makes sense? It has a smooth and silky formula and it's almost jelly like but opaque. It looks juicy and wet even though it is dry. I can't say it is the most original color but it is a very cheery and happy color.

This color photographs a lovely deep sky blue which is really freaky because it's green. It's difficult to get an accurate photo of the color without color correcting. What you see below is what I see when I look at my nails after tweaking it PhotoShop. I read that some folks are disappointed in the color being different on the nail compared to what is in the bottle. I didn't have that problem - what the color is in the bottle is what showed on my nails. 

Here is a photo in pretty bad light but it shows the color well.

Inglot 203 and 204

The only drawback to Inglot's flake polishes are that they are $10 for an 8ml bottle. The plus is that they are really nice. They have a wonderful formula - dense and smooth. I approve! You can get Inglot from their stores and online. I started with Essie Go Overboard and put Inglot 203 (blue/green) over that and Inglot 204 (violet) over that. It reminds me of an Earth marble.
