Essie Go Overboard with Red Angel Plate RA-103

I'm really loving Essie Go Overboard. I think this is the fourth time I have worn it since I bought. That says a lot. Also, I am in love with the Red Angel Plates. They have some great designs that aren't overly cute or floral. I am a big fan of abstract designs and this set has a number of them. I'm glad I bought them - they are getting me to stamp again. I seem to go through cycles.

Here is Essie Go Overboard stamped using China Glaze DV8 from a design on plate RA-103. I'm a bit out of practice so any errors are all me and not the plate.

Lacquistry Shredded

I always forget to pimp my own giveaways - so don't forget about it! And if you are allergic to cats please be aware that I have cats that act like the own the house.

I am so tickled at the range of indie polish creators popping up. I saw Shredded on a few blogs and I wanted it! I like black glitter but Shredded was something completely different. I don't have anything at all like this polish. I'm tempted to put it over everything and I feel the need to own all of the shredded polishes that she has (and will) create. I'm so greedy. I purchased this from Lacquistry and so glad I did.

This is one coat over Essie Brooch the Subject.

Amour Rain Glitter

Would you like to hear what I have been using to remove glitter polishes that I'm really liking? HandsDown Soak Off Gel Nail Wraps. I don't like using foil because I can't use my hands while wearing it and I don't like the feel. These wrap around the finger tip and are self adhesive - they are very much like a cloth bandage. They have a little square of cotton in the center that isn't pre-soaked. I can do both hands at once and still use my hands. I can even do one hand and re-use them on the other hand. Love them! If you don't like foil you may want to try them out.

On to the polish!

I love this polish. It's sparkly and I don't have to wear it layered. This is two coats alone. Huh, February seems to be turning into glitter month.

LA Girl Glitter Addict Eutopia

I didn't want to take off Snowcone so I just added some glitter. I'm such a cheater! Eutopia is a purple hex glitter in a clear base. I'm still loving the Glitter Addict serious from LA Girl. It was one of my favorite collections from 2011. You can get them from Cherry Culture.

Orly Snowcone

Layniefingers shared this cool tutorial about using scrapbook punches to create nail art. Very fun! I don't own any of those punches but I did wonder if they would work. I may have to buy some now.

I really like this color and the formula is wonderful - one coat. It's really flattering on me which is always a plus for a nail polish. A basic creme but not boring.
