Golden Rose Matte Velvet Collection: Part Two

Part two of the Golden Rose Matte Velvet collection. You can see part one here. Again, great formula and a decent color range. If you do a lot of layering these are a great option to have in your collection. I purchased these at Golden Rose USA.

106 is a velvety and lush red.

107 is a gorgeous and vibrant amethyst purple. This is a smidge darker in reality since I had to color correct in Photoshop. It photographed more blue but it is about 90% correct.

108 is a charcoal grey. It reminds me of pencil lead.

109 is a blue based charcoal grey or a deep steel blue grey.

110 is a deep neutral charcoal grey. This is a great one for layering.

Golden Rose Matte Velvet Collection: Part One

I got new toys in the mail recently and they are the Golden Rose Matte Velvet polishes. I am not a big fan of matte polishes but I do like polishes with a suede/velvet finish. I have a large number of creme polishes and a few matte topcoats so a basic matte doesn't really move me but I do like a finish with texture. I got my first Matte Velvet polish in a swap and when I saw that the rest were available from Golden Rose USA I snatched them up. I decided to show them all to you so you can see them. They don't have names but are numbered which is kind of annoying.

I had no issues with formula on any of them. All are two coats but I could easily use a thicker application for one coat. Dry time was quick. I bought these at Golden Rose USA and they are inexpensive which I like! There are ten total and I'll show the first five today and the remaining five tomorrow.

101 is a sky blue.

102 is a cornflower blue with a more obvious velvet finish.

103 is a shade of royal blue. A vibrant blue without being too loud.

104 is a denim blue.

105 is a teal green. Yum! One of my favorites.

Golden Rose Multi Dimensions 17

Holy wow! This packs a punch for such a little bottle of polish. Stunning. It's a luscious golden red with tons of sparkle and life. I thought it would be close to OPI Smitten With Mittens but it's more golden and tons more shimmery. It really is a gorgeous polish. I bought this at Golden Rose.

This is one coat over China Glaze Ravishing Dahling. It's so pretty it makes me shiver.

Golden Rose Holographic 108: Grey Holo

I love holo polishes. I bought a few from Golden Rose and I was expecting to be not so happy with them. Well I am happy with them which makes the world a better place for all of humanity. Great service from them too. I had my package in under three days and everything was wrapped really well. Price is good too at $2.19 a bottle. They are small at 6ml a bottle but I don't care! This is a great option if you are looking for an inexpensive holo polish. Shipping is free with orders over $20 (take that Butter London!) and they take Paypal. I may order more because I'm greedy like that.

They don't have names but are numbered instead. This is number 108 (non Paris holo) and it is a grey holo. I layered it over Nubar Palisade and only needed one coat. You can easily wear it alone with two/three coats. I'm very pleased. Look at it's holo goodness!
