OPI Designer Series (DS) Shimmer

I have posted bottle shots of all the OPI Designer Series polishes. You can find them on my Flickr account if you would like to check them out.

I showed this one before but I didn't like the photos so I decided to photograph it again. I like to think I have improved a little in my photography skills. A soft silver holo that I enjoy but I do have a weakness for the Designer Series line from OPI. This is three coats with topcoat.

OPI Designer Series (DS) Indulgence

Yay! A new OPI Designer Series color! I know some folks are a bit disappointed because they aren't holo but I don't care! Indulgence is packed full of golden shimmer which balances the coolish berry red base perfectly. I can even overlook my dislike for the pro-wide brush because I love the DS series that much! I own them all so I better like them.

Here is a bad photo to show that it even shimmers in very low light.

You can see the berry tone along the edge of the nail but it's the shimmer that makes this such a gorgeous polish.

OPI Designer Series (DS): A Few Others

I didn't get through all of them but I didn't think I would anyway. So this post will wrap up the DS showings. I'll eventually wear the others but right now I am craving a creme.

Signature (DS007)

Exclusive (DS002) - Love. Actually it's more lust.

Ruby (DS009). This is much more holo in real life.

Amethyst (DS017)

OPI Designer Series (DS) Desire

Desire (DS020) is a brown holo and one of my favorite DS polishes. I'm wearing topcoat in these photos and the holo isn't dulled. Don't be afraid to put topcoat on your holo polishes.

OPI Designer Series (DS) Sensation

This wears oddly on me. Sensation (DS013) is a hot pink with violet shimmer and undertones of orange/coral. When I wear it the orange/coral comes through a little bit and makes it not as bright a pink as it appears in the bottle. On others it's hot, hot pink with violet shimmer.
