Yay! A new OPI Designer Series color! I know some folks are a bit disappointed because they aren't holo but I don't care! Indulgence is packed full of golden shimmer which balances the coolish berry red base perfectly. I can even overlook my dislike for the pro-wide brush because I love the DS series that much! I own them all so I better like them. 

Here is a bad photo to show that it even shimmers in very low light. 

You can see the berry tone along the edge of the nail but it's the shimmer that makes this such a gorgeous polish.

I wanted something soft and subtle but with a bit of bling. I decided to pair Pahlish Typewriter Keys with OPI My Pointe Exactly. I have to admit that even though I am not a fan of jelly finish polishes I did purchase a few of the OPI Ballet colors. The best part - I like them! They have a very nice formula. 

Typewriter Keys has black and white shard glitter with very fine holographic shimmer. It's delicate looking. I used two coats of My Pointe Exactly, one coat of Typewriter Keys over that, another coat of My Pointe Exactly and one coat of Typewriter Keys over all that. It's not thick at all. It's time to file my nails again. 

I purchased this from Pahlish from her Etsy shop. Her polishes will soon be available from Llarowe as well. I'm hoping to get my hands on Great Wide Open!

A (sort of) glitter gradient. It looks much better in reality. I washed dishes before taking photos hence the tipwear. I used Essie Mademoiselle as a base and added Crown Me Already. It has a very ethereal and icy look to it. I was surprised that I liked it so much.

OPI Take the Stage is a stunner. I'm not the biggest fan of OPI but this a stunner!

Odd light but it shows the multi-colored sparkle this polish has running through it.

I didn't know what polish to wear today (it's my birthday) until my Dad gave me a present. And since I enjoy my little Dad conversations...

Dad: I have a birthday present for you. No it's not a donkey.
Me: I hope it's not a hippo because I don't have the room for one.
Dad: *sigh* It's not alive.
Me: Please tell me you didn't buy me another taxidermy animal?
Dad: That squirrel was cute.
Me: No Dad, that squirrel gave me nightmares.
Dad: Well if you didn't put pants on it.
Me: It had testicles! I was 7! Now you know why I am the way I am.
Dad: It's nature.
Me: A dead stuffed squirrel is nature?
Dad: It was once part of nature so that counts.
Me: If only it had been a donkey.
Dad: I would think that would have upset you.
Me: *blink* And a dead stuffed squirrel wouldn't upset me?
Dad: You think they are evil.
Me: Now I do because that stuffed squirrel was planning my death.
Dad: I'm not paying for therapy.
Me: That's what you said when I would play autopsy with my dolls.
Dad: I want to say you were a precocious child but...here is your present.
Me: Ooo, OPI Rainbow Connection!
Dad: It's really different. I didn't think you had anything like it. Do you?
Me: No, I don't. It really is unique. Thank you!

I used Essie Pretty Edgy and one coat of OPI Rainbow Connection. I topped that with one coat of OPI Funny Bunny which is a sheer/jelly soft white. It reminds me of flower petals or fabric. I really love this one!

I think I prefer this over a dark color and not pink. It's oddly different for OPI and makes me wonder why they don't put out more unique colors and finishes. On purpose and not because a new version of an existing color was made by mistake.

I do like the OPI Suede polishes. I like the texture and feel of them. I got bored and added some topcoat on the tips. It's subtle.





I got bored again and added a teal nail art glitter that I made. This I really liked. I think the color combination worked really together.

I bought the set this came in just for this polish. This is really sweet. It's two different size silver and gold glitter. The mix together creates a muted tarnished champagne color. It's very crisp looking. A nice surprise was that it wasn't a pain to remove.

I was filing my nails and I filed my middle finger amazingly crooked. I do not know how I did that but it may have been because I wasn't paying attention. Moral: don't read while filing your nails. This is Flashbulb Fuchsia which is a vibrant shimmery fuchsia. Love the old black label OPI's that don't have the pro-wide brush. I stamped with China Glaze Adore using Konad stamp M79. And guess who got a dotting tool? Me! I used it to add yellow dots.

It reminds me of wrapping paper.







I added a matte topcoat and really like it!

I like this polish. It gets picked on for being ugly on MUA but I think it's pretty. It's smooth and shiny and remind me of butterscotch pudding. Who doesn't love pudding? Hmph! Pudding haters! I decided to add a glitter accent using the new Petites Color Fever in 24k Gold that looks just like Milani Gold Glitz. I went a bit further and added some dots with the glitter. Eh, I should have stopped with the accent nail. My dots are malformed.

Such an odd color. It's a greyish/blue/black base with glitter and little blue specks. I love this polish. It's not a traditional glitter which is a plus and it's subtle but still fun to stare at. This is one coat over China Glaze Black Diamond. I want a bottle of just these blue specks - they are awesome!
