Brand Appreciation: Spoiled by Wet N Wild

I ordered a number of Spoiled polishes online from CVS. I find most of the colors I ordered to be easily found in other brands like Sally Hansen, Sinful and the regular Wet N Wild line. Some of the glitters are interesting but sparse with a thick base. They are all going to need thinner. I applied them by dabbing them on the nail. I don't like the brush. It's wide and soft and too big for my nails so I don't get a crisp application. They are fun and I think the glitters are the star but I don't think they are worth stressing over in tracking them down.

Jewelry Heist over Color Club Nomadic in Nude.

Pet My Peacock over China Glaze Pelican Gray.

Show Me The Money over Orly Lucky Duck.

Shuffle the Deck over Precision Sage.

Trust Fund Baby over Bettina Indigo.

Wet N Wild The Gold and The Beautiful

I didn't get the name of this polish until the sales lady at Rite Aid made a comment on how cute the name was because The Bold and The Beautiful is her favorite soap. I just smiled and nodded but really I had no clue what she was talking about. Thanks to Google I do now.

Don't wear this one alone. It's sheer and it really comes to life over a gold(ish) base color. Reminds me of OPI Thrills in Beverly Hills or a sheerer version of Orly Glitz and Glamour. Very pretty but best used as a glitter topcoat. This is two coats over Orly Solid Gold.

Confetti Cupcakes and Polish

Don't forget about the giveaway!

I've been craving Funfetti cupcakes for what seems like years. I finally made a batch and enjoyed one (or two) with a cold glass of coffee milk. Yum! This was of course after I chased Thom away from them but not before he was able to lick the cream cheese frosting off one of them. Can't fault his taste!

Cupcake! Do you see that little crumble on the side there? That was Thom trying to steal a piece. Cat loves his cupcakes.

Manicure inspired by the above cupcake. Revlon Powder Puff with Wet N Wild Part of Five.

Wet N Wild Vixen's Mittens Swatches

Since I am giving away a set of these I thought I would swatch my set. Today is the last day to enter the giveaway and you can find the info here.

A word about the brush on these. It's on the wide side and a bit soft. I'm not a fan of it at all but it seems to work with getting more glitter pieces on the nail.

Dasher is a holo silver glitter.

Dancer is a silver holo glitter with hex holo pieces.

Prancer is a red hex glitter with smaller red glitter. My favorite!

Comet is a gold glitter with hex holo glitter.

Cupid is a snowy shimmery white with holo bar glitter. A bit thick and could do with some thinner. I would layer this over a silver or a white so the bar glitter and shimmer shows.

Donner a gold with bar and regular holo glitter. This one was a bit thick as well.

Blitzen has a shimmery/glittery light pink base with gold glitter and little round red glitter.

Rudolph is a red with red glitter.

Wet N Wild Extravaganza

Did you ever buy a polish even though you were sure it would dissapoint you? I was sure that Wet N Wild Extravaganza would not live up to my own personal hype of it. In the bottle it's this luscious red with gold and red shimmer. It reminds me of OPI Smitten With Mittens. I figured for 80 cents I would risk it. Well this polish is AMAZING! The formula is wonderful and the color is better on the nails than in the bottle. It's just so pretty and I really love it.

This is from the Limited Edition Shine Collection and Extravaganza and Fireworks were the stars of the collection. In my opinion of course. You can see more swatches of the collection at Chloe's Nails.

Red Hot!

I continue to say (and always will) that everyone needs at least one red polish in their collection. It's a classic color and comes in a wide range of colors and finishes. You can have pink based, blue based, orange based, glitter, creme, pearl, shimmer, sheer, jelly and a few others. There is a red for everyone.

I figured I would show you some reds that I like and maybe inspire you.
