Barry M Dusky Mauve
I finally just bought Barry M Dusky Mauve off of Ebay after wanting it for awhile. I have read (and seen) that this is a dupe for Chanel Paradoxal and I liked the look of it from photos. I am a bit underwhelmed. The formula is nice and it wears well but I suppose the hype just didn't transfer well to me which is odd because I really like taupey colors. I don't hate it but I think I would like it more if the base was a tad lighter in color so the purple came through more. Though it is a bit more vibrant in the sun. Ah, fickle.

I thought this was Paradoxical at first.. I think I like this better (although neither blow me away).
im not sure about this color everyone is raving about it but i like a brighter color :)

Mm, yeah. I saw this in the store after someone mentioned it to me. It looks very nice on you, but I myself didn't see the big deal about this particular polish.
Oh, you should have told me! I have it and tried it once, photo's not pubished yet though, and I didn't like it and have an exact dupe for it. You could have had mine... Well, it is a bit underwhelming, that's for sure...
This looks like a fantastic dupe, but I never got behind the Paradoxal craze so even when I saw Revlon Perplex in CVS this weekend, I passed it up.
This IS a PERFECT dupe also for Paradoxal - I have them both, personally I am gaga for the purple-taupe-grey dark color. It is gorgeous and shimmery in the sun. There IS more shimmer in Barry M than Paradoxal in the direct sunlight. Indoors or where its darker there is NO difference. As I am a taupe maniac, am waiting for my Revlon Perplex to arrive from the United States, just to really compare :) Anyway, nice application, looks very pretty. ;)
