Jessica Cosmetics 2010 Fall Collection - Muse
I have to be honest. I was so glad not to see any shimmery/glass flecked shades in this collection. I love those colors but I think I am getting burned out on them. It seems everyone is doing colors like that - Zoya, Nubar, OPI, Orly, Milani - well you get the point. I was craving cremes and Jessica came through with them.Muse is the 2010 fall collection from Jessica Cosmetics. It has six shades and four of them are a creme, one is a shimmer and one has subtle glitter. It's an interesting mix. You have some basic colors like red and blue and they thrown in a some murky colors like a green and a dusty purple. Great formula with two coats needed for each polish and they all have a shiny finish.
I'm pleased with all of them. I would pass on Scarlet and Crimson Reflections but would so buy the rest!
Majesty Blue is a shimmery deep blue with tiny flecks of tealish glitter. The glitter is subtle and doesn't really show in the photos but it's there! Very close to Barielle Electric Boogie but with a better formula.
Victorian Crush is a murky olive green. Hello! Love this one but I am a bit biased toward greens.
Bittersweet is a golden light chocolate brown with shimmer. I'm not usually a fan of browns but this one is different enough for me to like it. I can see this being ugly to some. I would love to see this on someone with dark skin.
Intrigue is a dusty greyish purple. It's along the lines of the taupe trend but it leans a tad more purple compared to the other greige/taupe shades. I love these shades and think they work as a neutral with an edge. Reminds me of China Glaze Channelesque.
In the shade.
Scarlet is a bright red creme. I really believe everyone needs at least one red creme but this isn't a unique red.
Crimson Reflections is a burgundy red on the light side of burgundy. If you like vampy wine shades but want something a bit lighter this could be your answer. Not unique color wise.
Jessica can be bought online here for $7.50 each and you can search for international locations there as well. I don't have a release date for this collection but possibly late August/early September since it is a fall release.

Very pretty! I like Victorian Crush.
It's an awesome green and the formula is wonderful too.
Aww, I just love blues! I want that shimmer! It's delightful. I also quite like to try Intrigue, surprisingly. :)
