SpaRitual Conglomerate

Conglomerate is from the Fall 2012 Rock collection and SpaRitual describes it as "Charcoal rock glitter infused with Rhyolite" which really isn't accurate and is kind of silly. What the hell is rock glitter? I want some! The polishes from the Rock collection are all infused with Rhyolite like the Gold collection was infused with gold. The infused thing makes it sound fancy but not as fancy as the giveaway!

In reality, Conglomerate is a murky greenish color with golden shimmer and little round black and white glitter pieces. It's different and a bit unattractive and the formula is a bit thick and fluffy but I kind of like it. I would have liked to have seen the glitter in a lighter base or in a clear base to wear it over any color. Still, it's an interesting color and not to the taste of everyone.

I bought this from AveYou.

Here it is in natural light and in the shade. The shimmer isn't as pronounced but the glitter shows well.

SpaRitual Spring/Summer 2012 Gold Collection

The Gold Collection is the Spring/Summer 2012 offering from SpaRitual. All six shades have gold shimmer and are infused with real gold. Seems a waste of real gold but it does make for a pretty nail polish! I think it's an interesting Spring/Summer collection. You usually see neons or bright colors but SpaRitual decided to put out a mix of metallic/golden colors. I like them though I think $12 a bottle is a bit steep but having a coupon helps things. I bought these at Aveyou.com and they always have a coupon floating around.

Alchemy is a white gold shimmer. It has a fluffy formula and it goes on delicate looking but it only needs three coats to be opaque and it wears well. It reminds me of China Glaze White Cap but the gold is more pronounced and it has a less sheer formula. I like this one it's very pretty and clean looking on the nail.

Gilded Age is a golden pink shimmer. The gold shimmer in this is really lovely. It went on a bit streaky and frosty looking but when it dried it smoothed right out. It's sparkly and demure. I only needed two coats.

Aurum is a gold shimmer that looks like hammered gold. This one is very sparkly and vibrant with a delicate formula much like Alchemy. Three coats for an opaque finish. I can't say this is unique but it is pretty.

Conduit is copper shimmer and I love it! It's an interesting mix of gold and copper and the sparkle is amazing.

Rusted Lux is red copper shimmer. This leans more red copper with a gold mix but the sparkle is just as amazing as Conduit.

Electrum is an olive golden green shimmer. It's very vibrant and a bit lighter than your traditional olive green polishes. I like it but I'm a sucker for greens and this one has a sort of satin finish when it dries.

SpaRitual Strength

I didn't think I would like this color so I bought a mini. Surprise! I really like it. It's more golden than pink on me but it's a complex little polish.

SpaRitual Shooting Star

Shooting Star is from the 2011 Twinkle collection which is the holiday collection. I picked up a mini bottle of it from AveYou and it's really pretty! A sparkly dense magenta. Two coats and the formula is wonderful. The best part is that it dries smooth and shiny even without a topcoat.

It's a happy sexy color and I think this is going to look awesome on the toes.

SpaRitual Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground is from the Fall 2011 Wilde collection. I bought mini bottles of the entire collection from AveYou but I was drawn to this one first. This is a stone taupeish/greyish type of color with little bits of shimmer throughout that leans pink/purple. Really sweet and a wonderful formula.

SpaRitual Earth Matters

The second green from the Love Your Planet duo that I picked up at Aveyou. It's an emerald green and gold glitter. The best part is that the base is green and not clear so no need to layer it over another polish. Love it!

SpaRitual Greenhouse

This came in a duo called Love Your Planet. I saw it at AveYou while browsing the site. I hadn't heard anything about it and since I am a sucker for greens I decided that I must own it/them. Greenhouse reminds me of Color Club Magic Elf. It's a yellow green with shimmer and a slight foil finish. It also has a very, very slight blue tint to it. I'm happy about the impulse purchase.

Reader Request: SpaRitaul Yes I Can and Zoya Shawn

Rach requested a comparison of SpaRitual Yes I Can and Zoya Shawn.

SpaRitual Yes I Can. A vibrant spring green with a light yellow base. Shiny and smooth. Love this color.

Zoya Shawn. A deeper green with a stronger yellow base that gives it a slight murky feel. I love this one too.

Here they are together. From left to right (pointer finger to pinkie finger) SpaRitual, Zoya, SpaRitual and Zoya.

Zoya on top and SpaRitual on the bottom. This one shows the difference better. The Zoya is deeper and a bit more army green in color. The SpaRitual is more vibrant and more of a grass/spring green.
