Funky Fingers Holiday Glitters - The Other Two

Suck pretty sparkles!

Sugar Plum is a multi-colored glitter that leans red. Those little sparks of blue are from tiny pieces of holo glitter.

Blitzen is a green jelly with holo glitter. Hello! It's like a greener version of China Glaze Atlantis. WooHoo!!

Funky Fingers Icicle Lights - OPI Mad as A Hatter Dupe!

Found the new holiday glitters at Five Below and oh shiny! Here is Icicle Lights a multi-colored glitter leaning toward the purple. I'll be showing the others soon but I was excited about this one.

It's a dupe for OPI Mad as A Hatter. A real dupe in that I cannot tell them apart at all. I had to mark my fingers so I wouldn't forget which was which. Ah, I love finding dupes!

Some New Funky Fingers

I was out and about and came across some new Funky Fingers. I have no idea if they are part of a collection but two are dupes of polishes from the Color Club Untamed Luxury collection, one is a dupe of another Funky Fingers polish and a Color Club polish and one is the lone man out. The dupes are not a suprise since Funky Fingers is made by Color Club. I figured I would pick them up and try them - I'm easy!

Elephunk is a dupe for Color Club Wild Orchid. It's a blue based dove grey with multi-colored shimmer. So pretty.

Snakeskin is a dupe for Color Club Snakeskin. It's a smokey charcoal/green with gold shimmer. I love the Color Club Snakeskin and love this one too.

Kenyan Sunset is a dupe for Color Club Wild at Heart and Funky Fingers Jester. A deep grape holo. Oo, can't get enough of this one but it would have been nice to see a teal or green or a red.

Manic Flamingo is a vibrant shimmery pink with blue/purple shimmer. Reminds me of one of the Sally Hansen HD colors.

Funky Fingers Hampton Collection

I tend to usually like Funky Fingers because they have fun and inexpensive polishes. I like this collection but I don't love it. I think the colors combined make a nice collection but they aren't unique or unusual. The formula on some was a bit of a pain but I tend to expect that from paler/pastel type polishes. A little thinner will take care of those issues. It is a bit of a let down considering their last collection was awesome.

You can see in some of the photos that I had some bald spots and such. Not the best formula on these. I think Funky Fingers should stick to glitters, foils and holos.

The collection consists of five colors:

Violet's Vineyard - dusty violet
Mint Me in Montauk - vibrant lime green
Daiquiri on the Deck - cantaloupe peach
Cottage Stripes - dusty periwinkle
Southampton Seafoam - seafoam pastel

Now I had planned on doing these in the sun but when I went out to the yard there was this massive bug flying around. I ran back into the house squealing like a girl and used my Ott.

Violet's Vineyard.

Mint Me in Montauk.

Daiquiri on the Deck.

Cottage Stripes.

Southampton Seafoam. I'm going to mess with this one a bit. I think it will look great as a jelly.

Funky Fingers

Funky Fingers is owned by Forsythe Cosmetic Group which also produces Color Club. Funky Fingers is sold at Five Below. They have some fun colors and some just really impress me! It's a shame that they aren't sold more widely.

Funky Fingers Alice is part of their Alice in Wonderland collection. It's a vibrant glowy blue foil. Man this one is just awesome! The formula is typical, for me anyway, of foils. I had to let the first coat dry a bit to prevent bald spots and/or pooling. I wore this one for two days. So pretty.

Funky Fingers Moonwalk is a black with tons and tons of holo glitter. One coat was all I needed for this one. One! It wasn't thick or goopy and it dried smooth. I can see this needing thinner in the future though. This is so fun to look at in the sun. Plus, how cool is the name?!

Funky Fingers Jester. This is a dupe for Color Club Wild at Heart except the holo on Jester is a tad more pronounced compared to Wild at Heart. This one was one coat. I stopped with this one because I didn't want to take it off.
