Craked Grey Duotone

The best part about crackle polish, for me, is doing a duotone look. It reminds me of leather. Actually it reminds me of this huge faux leather recliner we had growing up. I would hide behind it (while drawing on the walls) and spy on my brother while he smooched his girlfriends. Great blackmail material since he was dating sisters and they had no clue. *snicker*

This is Barry M Grey with China Glaze Cracked Concrete. I have found that crackle loves thinner. I advise adding a few drops if you are having issues with the polish cracking. It makes a difference.

The more I wear it the more I like it. I want to see something like this with the other colors. Thinner is needed for these - seriously! If it doesn't crack - add thinner. I have found the thinner the formula the better the cracking. The purple one is a brat without thinner.

Haha, your brother sounds like a player! I really like this idea as well and want to try it with black (I know, not terribly original). :( Thanks for the tip about thinner...definitely putting that to use!

KML: sounds like you can experiment on your color that is similar to the "crackle color," is that right? Do some colors not work with the crackle or shattered effect? You have a gorgoeus combination effect here, love the crackle effect.

Love

@Geo58 - As long as the base color is dry any polish should work with the crackle polishes from ChG.
