BB Couture Kelly's Green

When I first saw a swatch of this I thought it would be perfect for me. I love green polishes and avocados. As a side note, an avocado is a fruit but did you know that the Supreme Court ruled that the tomato is both a fruit and vegetable? Ah, the American justice system at its best! Nihrida made me think of this with her tomato post.

Anyway, like I was saying green and avocado. Hell yeah! I ordered the complete Vampy Varnish collection and finally pulled this one out to wear it. The thing is, it is not avocado green. This is a sage green. It has too much grey in it to be called avocado. I love it, don't get me wrong, but I was expecting the color to be like what Kelly posted here. Mine is a murky sage green with blueish green flecks and a few black with some silver glitter. I don't think I would feel comfortable eating an avocado that had a grey tinge to it.

Check it out and give me your thoughts. It is different right? I'm not seeing things am I?

I still love it and it reminds me of a cousin of RBL ONS.

I have this. I never cared what it was likened to. It's not avocado-ish, for sure. But It's one of my favourites.

Hmm... odd. Kelly's does look like it has slightly more yellow to hers. Maybe it's the camera settings?

I definitely agree, more sage than avocado - the dustiness makes it more sagey. Still, a gorgeous colour whatever you describe it as.

This polish just confuses me! Scrangie posted this collection and her bottle is a darker green. Hm, I might have gotten a different batch. Still love it though! You can't go wrong with a grey green.
