Smackdown: Lynnderella Connect The Dots vs Cover Band Sticks 'n Stones vs Dollish Polish Putting On The Ritzzz

Don't forget about the raffle!

My Goodness! Can that title be any longer? I thought you all would be interested in seeing a few black and white glitters so I am comparing Connect the Dots, Sticks 'n Stones and Putting on the Ritzzz!

Lynnderella Connect the Dots has a shimmery base with fine multi-sized black and white glitter including bar. It has a thin formula and, until it thickens, it needs to be dabbed on to get fuller coverage on the nail. More Nail Polish has a great video showing the dabbing application. You can buy Lynnderella through Llarowe if you don't mind waiting or the drama that sometimes come with this brand.

Cover Band Sticks 'n Stones has a clear base with larger multi-sized black and white glitter including bar. There is a sprinkling of fine glitter in the base but it doesn't add shimmer but more of a little spark here and there on the nail. The formula is denser and you only need one coat to get very good glitter coverage. You can buy Sticks 'n Stones through Ninja Polish

Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz! has a clear base with multi-sized black and white glitter but without the bar glitter. The formula was dense and only one coat is needed for great glitter coverage. It has more medium sized glitter and is less subtle compared to Stick 'n Stones but larger than Connect the Dots. You can buy Putting on the Ritzzz! from Dollish Polish

I have to say that I really like Sticks 'n Stones. It's bolder and a bit more defined and it doesn't have a shimmery base. I think Connect the Dots is an amazing glitter but the shimmer base keeps me from totally loving it. On certain colors that shimmer can make it look cloudy/milky. Second place goes to Putting on the Ritzzz! because it's a basic black and white glitter with some oomph. Also, it's inspired by one of my favorite moves - Young Frankenstein. If you haven't watched it I hight recommend it.

Here they are together so you can see the difference more clearly. I hope this helped if you were curious about these polishes.

Here they are over a blue.

Well, I'm surprised, but I agree with you about Sticks & Stones being the best of the bunch. Thanks for the comparison. I'd never seen such a closeup of Connnect the Dots, and Sticks & Stones looks like what I THOUGHT Connect the Dots did. Those micro particles do seem to muddy the overall look.
